Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

I understand that you want to change your language settings.

Before troubleshooting please answer the question:

Is your Operating system a single language pack OS? If it is a single language pack, we are sorry but you cannot change the language in the OS.

Kindly follow the steps below to change the regional language settings.

1. Go to Start > Settings > Time & Language > Region and Language.
2. To change PC’s language option follow the steps
   1. Select the language and then click on Options. If your language is not available, go to language options and click on Download (to download the language pack) once the pack is downloaded go back to the Region & language, select the Language and Click on Set as primary.
   2. You will get a notification, “Will be display language after next sign-in.”
   3. Sign out of Windows and sign back in, your new language will be set.
3. To add a keyboard, click on Add a language and choose the keyboard language you want to add. To switch between keyboards, you can click the taskbar button and select the keyboard you want to use. You can use the keyboard shortcut Windows Key + Space to toggle between added keyboards.

On my PC both English and German are installed ('Einstellungen') but I can only set German as the 'Spracherkennungsprache'.

I never specified that I want a single language pack when I bought my PC.

1. How can I check that it is just a single language pack?

2. How can I upgrade?

Same issue except my pc used to have English as the primary language and since upgraded have error with SKY and other sites This is the message I get 'Please update your system settings

If you have recently upgraded to Windows 10 and/or are experiencing issues watching on Sky Go, you may need to update your system settings.

• Go to ‘Control panel > languages > install English language’. Once downloaded, you will need to activate it.
• You may also want to make sure that your Time Format is set to UK English.'

BUT

MY REGION IS UNITED KINGDOM AND MY LANGUAGE IS ENGLISH
MY KEYBOARD IS SET TO ENGLISH

Have tried all of the other advice on this forum and others and still experiencing problems

any advice on this?

i have the same problem, except that my system is single language (UK English), has a UK English keyboard, UK English timezone, region and is on a UK broadband connection.. still gives me this ropey message!
